Mark A. Hendrix was born in Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Hendrix was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1983. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit United States Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Hendrix attended Texas Tech University for both his undergraduate and legal education, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1980 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1983; Mr. Hendrix is a member of the Delta Pheta Phi Fraternity, the Texas Tech University Board of Barristers, the Dallas and American Bar Associations, and the State Bar of Texas.
Mr. Hendrix has tried over 100 cases involving, among other issues, workers compensation claims, securities litigation, contract claims, real estate, products and products liability claims, construction claims, and complex business transaction claims. He currently handles a docket involving commercial litigation matters, insurance defense matters, and construction related matters.
Mr. Hendrix worked at the law firm of Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox, L.L.P. for over sixteen (16) years. He was the head of Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox, L.L.P.’s tort section from 1993 through 1997, supervising a tort section docket of over 3,000 cases during that time period. He has tried cases in every part of Texas from El Paso to Texarkana and from Lubbock to Houston.
